Freddie C. Brown, 88, of Clanton died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
She was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1921, in Alabama, daughter of the late William J. Cox and the late Birdie May Chapman Cox.
She was a seamstress.
Surviving are her son, Aubrey (Jane) Brown of Clanton; two daughters, Barbara (C.M.) Stokes of Clanton and Peggy (J.B.) Franklin of McCalla; three granddaughters, Linda Glasscock, Crystal Ousley and Sandy Stokes; three grandsons, Timothy Wayne Brown, Byron Franklin and Jason Stokes; great-grandson, Dallas Ousley; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Franklin; and sister, Sara M. Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Willard Aubrey Cox.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Samaria Baptist, Clanton.
