Ronald Lee Pilkerton, 63, of Maplesville died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Monday, Dec. 23, 1946, in Jefferson County, son of the late Ronald Pilkerton Sr. and the late Hattie Louise Schear Pilkerton.
He was a coal miner.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Sue Pilkerton of Maplesville; daughters, Shannon Kelley of Maplesville and Kimberly Fenske of Clanton; sons, Preston Pilkerton of Maplesville, Gregory Pilkerton of Pelham and Scott Pilkerton of Hueytown; granddaughters, Elizabeth Jolene Kelley of Maplesville, Mikayla Fenske of Clanton, Hannah Pilkerton of Pelham and Shelby Pilkerton of Pelham; grandsons, Tyler Pilkerton of Pelham, Ty Fenske of Clanton, Logan Pilkerton of Pelham; Chad and Aaron Bearden of Forestdale and Austin and Reid Pilkerton of Hueytown; nieces, Megan and Alexis Nicole Beasley of Clanton, Desiree Beasley of Clanton, Nikki McCullough of Highland Home and Santana Burgones of Highland Home.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 11 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Hughes officiating.
