Carl Watley, 85, of Clanton died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009.
He was born Sunday, May 11, 1924, in Chilton County, son of the late Lewis Pink Watley and the late Rita Foshee Watley.
He was a cotton mill worker.
Surviving are his two sons, Mr. Sterling Watley of Clanton and Mr. Clark Watley of Clanton; grandson, Mr. Spencer Watley of Clanton; two granddaughters, Ms. Trinity Watley of Clanton and Ms. Tiffany Watley of Clanton; and two sisters, Mrs. Oleta Eiland of Clanton and Mrs. Helen Coggins of Prattville.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist No. 1.
Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist No. 1 Cemetery.
