Thanks to deputies for doing their jobs

On Dec. 10 at approximately 9:40 p.m., my wife, Karen, was outside walking our dog in the field next to our house on County Road 7.
She had a flashlight and was wearing a dark blue robe. She noticed a car slow down as it passed the house. I was sitting in my recliner and also noticed the same vehicle from a different vantage point.
It pulled into our subdivision, waited for traffic to pass, then obviously realized the flashlight was Karen walking our dog and proceeded to continue patrolling CR 7.
Sheriff Kevin Davis, it was one of your deputies. He or she was actually doing the job intended.
I want to thank you for having these deputies patrolling instead of doing a half-hearted drug interdiction operation on the Interstate.
Karen came in the house happy about the incident. Tell your deputies, “Thank you.” This is what is expected of them, and they did not disappoint us!
