James Franklin Rich, 93, of Clanton died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.
He was born Sunday, Dec. 12, 1915, in Coosa County, son of the late Jackson Cleveland Rich and the late Maudie Forbus Rich.
He was a sheet metal installer with Hayes International.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Barbara (Billy) Mims of Clanton; sister, Mrs. Audrey (Harold) Harrison of Billingsley; granddaughter, Mrs. LaShonda (Jim) McGregor of Clarksville, Tenn.; two great-grandsons, Matthew McGregor of Clarksville, Tenn. and J.T. McGregor of Clarksville, Tenn.; and great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn McGregor of Clarksville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Mae Headley Rich.
Services were held Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Barnes officiating.
