Lula Williams Miller, 96, of Clanton died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Prattville Health & Rehabilitation, LLC in Prattville.
She was born Thursday, Feb. 13, 1913, in Franklin, daughter of the late J.C. Williams and the late Minnie Kirby Williams.
She was a homemaker. She was also a life long member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Chilton Medical Center.
Surviving are her two sons, Mr. Jack Miller of Alabaster and Mr. Billy Miller of Clanton; daughter, Mrs. Jewel M. Moatts of Clanton; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Kelley of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Mrs. Lucille Hines of Washington, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. H.H. Miller; and granddaughter, Ms. Teresa Moatts.
Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matt DeBord and the Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.
Interment will follow in Clanton City Cemetery in Clanton.
