Edna Durbin Braswell, 94, of Calera died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church in Calera. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera. The Rev. Joe Sizemore will officiate. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Braswell is survived by sisters, Marie Sanders, Helen Mims and Ann Rasberry; brothers, Jerry Durbin and Jimmy Durbin; niece, Lynda Daughtry; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Braswell; parents, Glacus Durbin and Iris Edna Harris Durbin; sisters, Mildred Chandler and Lois Cobb; and brothers, James C. Durbin and Monroe Durbin.
