Super Bowl of shopping Friday

I’m not a big shopper. When I go into a store, it’s usually with a list and a budget in mind. I get what I need and am in and out as quickly as possible.

I don’t enjoy the crowds, trying to find a parking spot and the whole spectacle of it.

I’d never line up at midnight on the Friday after Thanksgiving, commonly called Black Friday, trying to be one of the first people into a shopping mall if they were giving things away.

If I didn’t have to work that day, I’d rather be watching football or eating leftover Turkey sandwiches, but for the people who do enjoy it, go for it.

I hope you have fun and find some good deals.

Thursday’s and Friday’s edition of The Clanton Advertiser will help people find as many of those steals as possible.

Inside both papers, though Thursday will have more, will be multiple inserts and sales papers from all different kinds of stores.

Thursday’s paper will also contain our “Bountiful Blessings,” a tab that will include shopping tips and other information to make the holiday season more enjoyable.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! (And can I say, Roll Tide!)
