Carl Devon Wilkins, 60, of Alabaster died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born Friday, July 1, 1949, in Tuscaloosa, son of the late Earl Martin Wilkins and the late Judy Ruth Hall Wilkins.
He was a telephone technician.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Phyllis Wilkins of Alabaster; daughter, Mrs. Tanya (Brent) Nichols of Lakeland, Fla.; son, Mr. Chad Wilkins of Moody; step-daughter, Mrs. Maria (Brand) McNeal of Clanton; two step-sons, Mr. Joseph (Melissa) Esposite of Alabaster and Mr. Tony Esposite of Alabaster; nine grandchildren, Hannah Beth and Cloe Nichols, Whitney and Taylor Wilkins, Jacob, Tyler, Xander and Ella Claire McNeal, and Ethan Esposite; and brother, Mr. Wayne Wilkins.
Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24 at First United Methodist Church in Clanton.
Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Dovey and the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.
No flowers; the family requests that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
