Margie Ree Edwards, 76, of Clanton died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Friday, Nov. 11, 1932, in Georgia, daughter of the late William Knott and the late Lula Bell Wellborn.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Steve Raymond of Clanton; four grandsons, Steven (Deana) Raymond II of Calera, Michael S. Raymond of Newnan, Ga., Adam W. Raymond of Clanton and Matthew W. Raymond of Clanton; granddaughter, Valeria R. Raymond of Newnan, Ga.; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Gloria Blair Stanton of Bennettsville, SC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Edwards.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at Martin Memorial Cemetery.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
