Central C. Northcutt Thrash

Central Northcutt was born June 4, 1921, in Chilton County and passed away Oct. 26, 2009, in Shelby Hospital. She was the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. J.R. Cost. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Central was a beautician and owned her own shop for many years. She was a graduate of Jemison High School and Cargile Beauty School in Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by Labon David Northcutt (Frommie) in 1987.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Mae Davenport of Alabaster; son, Labon “Dick” (Nancy) Northcutt of Winston, Ga.; grandchildren, Steve Davenport, Brett (Paula) Davenport, Felicia (Brad) Miller, David (Debbie) Northcutt, Ginny (Jason) Camp, and Renee (Chris) Hodges; great-grandchildren, Tara Davenport, Heath Davenport, Haley Davenport, Houston Davenport, Olivia Foster Miller, Sarah Alexis Miller, Christy Butterworth and Peyton Hodges; and great-great grandchildren, Bailey Smith, Brinley Davenport and Jonah Brock Davenport.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Martin Funeral Home. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
