Thelma Virginia Buckner, 84, of Clanton died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
She was born on Friday, Sept. 25, 1925 in Alabama, daughter of the late William Howard Buckner, Sr. and the late Annie Gertrude Yessick Buckner.
Surviving are her two brothers, Howard (Barbara) Buckner, Jr. of Thorsby, and Robert (Peggy) Buckner of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Ann (Steve) Kundrat of Bluffton, S.C. and Patricia (James) Robertson of Rocky Mount, Va.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Anderson and the Rev. Brian Dovey officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
