Michael Lynn Wells, 56, of Clanton died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009 at his residence.
He was born Friday, Nov. 21, 1952 in Tampa, Fla., son of Otis L. Wells and Jean Williams Wells.
He was a purchasing coordinator.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Wells of Clanton; daughter, Shannon (Kent) Carden of Alabaster; two grandchildren, Mason Wells Carden of Alabaster and Morgan Bradley Carden of Alabaster; father, Otis L. Wells of Clanton; mother, Jean Wells of Clanton; sister, Rene (Dale) Mims of Clanton; nephew, Jared Mims of Clanton; niece, Jessica Mims of Clanton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives; and beloved pet cat, Monkey.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Dodson officiating.
Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery.
