Thorsby’s varsity volleyball team pulled out a five-game win at Jemison on Monday.

The varsity Rebels won 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 26-24, 25-18).

Jemison’s junior varsity won 2-0 (25-23, 25-20), and the Panthers middle school won 2-0 (25-14, 25-20).

For Thorsby in the JV match, Krysten Hendrix racked up six aces and six digs.

Yessica Prado had four aces and three digs, and Kaitlyn Langston had five kills and four digs.

For the varsity Rebels (15-13), Holly Smith had seven aces, five digs and 14 assists. Brittany Maddox added 10 digs and nine killsk and Michelle Hendrix had 14 digs.

Stephanie Moore had 11 digs and two blocks, and both Kendra Dawson and Desiree Evans had nine digs.
