Joseph “Joe” Wayne Brown, 31, a resident of Marbury, left us to be with Lord Jesus Christ on Sept. 26, 2009.
He is survived by his father, Willie Frank Brown; his mother, Eva Lavone Brown; three sons, Zac Brown, Eli Brown and Jonah Brown; three brothers, Cary Dale Brown (Pam) of Marbury, Frank Allen Brown of Elmore and Daniel Lynn Brown (Christina) of Prattville; nieces and nephews, Crystal Johnson, Robert White, Danielle White, Alysa Brown, Alana Brown, Brandon Brown, Brittonie Brown, Josh Brown, Hannah Brown, Sera Brown, Haliegh Brown and Nate Brown; 10 great nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, all waiting for our time to meet him on the other side.
Pallbearers: Ronald D. Johnson, Robbie White, Shiloh Missildine, Travis Missildine, Colby Jackson, B.J. Freeze, Michael Daughtry, Dale Gulledge.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. at Billingsley Church of God with the Rev. Wendell Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Billingsley Church of God Cemetery in Billingsley.
