Douglas Alan Barber, 53, of Clanton died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
He was born on Friday, July 20, 1956, in Montgomery, son of the late David Barber and the late Pauline Tracy Barber.
Surviving are his two brothers, Mr. Jeffery L. Davis and Mr. Bradley Barber; two sisters, Mrs. Leesa Davis Connell and Darla Marlene Tindell; and special friends, Charles and Diane Bean.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Chandler officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
