Helen Maulding Jones, 86, of Clanton died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born Monday, Dec. 4, 1922 in Bibb County, daughter of the late Stewart Maulding and the late Olla Roxxy McKenzie Maulding.
She was a machine operator.
Surviving are her two grandsons, Joey Adams of Clanton and Bobby Joe Adams Jr. of Clanton; four granddaughters, Denise (Joe) Wright of Clanton, Tammy (Anthony) Kelly of Clanton, Cindy (Terry) Boswell of Clanton and Roxxane (Keith) Barksdale of Clanton; daughter-in-law, Judy Adams of Clanton; brother, Grady Maulding of Clanton; sister, Hattie Knight of Clanton; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Jones; son, Bobby Joe Adams; and grandson, John Lewis Adams.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Barney Mims officiating.
