LeFoyle Dorminey Gore, 93, of Vestavia died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 at South Haven Nursing Home in Hoover.
She was born Sunday, May 14, 1916 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Shade Young Dorminey and the late Ola Belle Mims.
She was in retail sales.
Surviving are daughter, Donna G. Johnson; son, James Randall Gore; seven grandchildren, Josh Dunham, Jake Dunham, Rachael Johnson, Perry Addison, Julie Dodson, Lisa Addison and Donna Lynn Nevills; two brothers, S.Y. (Shade) Young Dorminey and Judon Dorminey; sister, Launeal Smith; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Gore.
Friends will be received Saturday, Sept. 12 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel from 12:30 until 1 p.m.
Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel with J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
