Mrs. Rebecca Johnson Roberts, 50, of Clanton died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at her residence.
She was born Saturday, Jan. 17, 1959 in Chilton County, daughter of the late J. Sam Johnson Sr. and Mrs. J. Sam Johnson Sr.
She was a probation officer.
Surviving are her husband, James L. Roberts of Clanton; mother, Mrs. J. Sam Johnson Sr. of Clanton; sister, Ms. Margaret Johnson Vann of Las Vegas; brother, Mr. J. Sam (Patti) Johnson Jr. of Montgomery; step-daughter, Mrs. Felicia (Rodney) Martin of Clanton; step-son, Mr. Troy Roberts of Clanton; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. J. Sam Johnson Sr.
Services will be held Friday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
