Flora “Jonnie” T. Gore, 90, of Clanton, devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away Wednesday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gore; parents, Ida and John Thornton; son, Jimmy Ray Gore; grandson, Jamey Gore; great-grandson, Christopher Weathers; sister, Elsie Glenn; and brother, Benjamin Thornton.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Mary Joyce Gilliland (Jerry) of Clanton and Mrs. Shirley Green (Jerry) of Clanton; son, Mr. Douglas Gore (Pam) of Clanton; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jane Gore of Clanton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Powell, the Rev. Mark Seales and the Rev. Tony Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
