Jimmie Dan Brock, 63, of Clanton died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery.

He was born Thursday, Nov. 22, 1945 in Chilton County, son of the late Ira Justice Brock and the late Jewel Hudson Brock.

He was self-employed.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene S. Brock of Clanton; two sons, Eric J. (Nicole) Brock of Clanton, Stephen J. (Courtney) Brock of Clanton; grandchildren, Hannah and Colton Brock of Clanton, Zachary and Marcey Barnett of Clanton; and Cain Sansom of Clanton.

Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. at West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Smitherman and the Rev. Cecil O. Sewell Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, located in Clanton. Martin Funeral Home directing.
