Michael Jeffery Tippett, 52, of Clanton died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton.
He was born Sunday, Oct. 14, 1956 in Montgomery, son of James Donald Tippett and Doris Bone Tippett.
He was a foreman.
Surviving are his son, Johnny (Mary) Tippett of Verbena; mother, Doris Tippett of Clanton; father, Don Tippett of Clanton; family friend, Faye Cunningham of Clanton; brother, Bert (Kay) Tippett of Clanton; sister, Donna (Phillip) Squires of Bessemer; nieces, Olivia, Alexis and Gloria Tippett.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Effie and Elbert Bone; Alma Steadham and Bill Tippett.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roland Davis and the Rev. Bert Tippett officiating.
Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
