Funeral services for Grady Howard Brown, 89, will be Tuesday, July 7, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. Donald Grice and the Rev. Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Chilton County.

Mr. Brown died Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Coosa Valley Nursing Home. He worked in Merrillville, Ind. for many years with the railroad.

He is survived by his son, Grady Leslie Brown of Corbin, Ken.; daughter, Mira Joy Dahn of Wheatfield, Ind.; sisters, Daisy Brown and Mattie Hay of Sylacauga; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Jack Bachman, William Brown, Bill Brown, Wayne Brown, Nathan Brown and Barney Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Brown and Grady Leslie Brown.
