Make time for safety this 4th

Holidays typically results in heavy traffic on our highways.
It just so happens this year that the Fourth of July will fall on Saturday, making it all the more important to drive safely.
A great number of holiday travelers will be passing through Chilton County on our interstate exits and places nearby. We should anticipate this increase in traffic even if we are planning to close tohome on July 4.
If you do plan to travel Friday Saturday or Sunday, allow plenty of time for travel so you won’t be in a big hurry. Drive courteously, even if other drivers don’t return that courtesy.
Doing this will help you and others avoid tragedy this July 4.
