The Jemison baseball team fell to Montevallo, 9-7, in a practice game Tuesday despite a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Jemison starter Alex Campbell held the Bulldogs scoreless through the first two innings. The visitors broke through in the third, though, and the Panthers could only muster five hits the rest of the way.
Scott Clements, Donny Eslinger and Cruz Martinez all recorded doubles in the game.
Campbell pitched 3 1/3 innings and suffered the loss.
The Panthers will host a baseball camp next week for children going into kindergarten through the 8th grade.
The camp will last from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, and attendance costs $20 per day.
