All-Advertiser baseball team 2009

The all-Clanton Advertiser baseball team was selected based on team and individual performances during the season and based on nominations and statistics provided by local coaches.

The team features experience everywhere except the infield, where sophomores Adam Minor of Chilton County High and Kelly Dorsett of Verbena and freshman Forrest Ousley of Billingsley are the only three players on the team that aren’t either a junior or a senior.
Among first-team selections, the highest batting average reported was Dorsett’s .522. Minor had the most reported RBI with 22. Jemison’s Eric Argo had the most reported home runs with two, and Billingsley’s Forrest Ousley had the most reported stolen bases with 13.
