Lacey Lynn Nance, 9, of Verbena died Monday, May 11.
She was born Thursday, May 13, 1999 in Shelby County, daughter of Michael Raymond Nance and Elaine Cobb Nance.
She was a student.
Surviving are her mother, Delora Nance of Verbena; two brothers, Bradley Cobb of Verbena, Charlie Cobb of Verbena; sister, Kayla Nance of Verbena; three half-brothers, Michael Ray Nance of Verbena, Nicholas Matthews of Pensacola, Fla.; Cory Matthews of Birmingham; half-sister, Whitney Matthews of Birmingham; step-father, Richard Matthews of Verbena; grandfather, Charles Nance of Verbena; grandmother, Elizabeth Nance of Verbena; grandparents, Sylvia and Gary Martin of Shelby; special uncle, Junior Cobb of Tallassee; aunt, Dawn Marie Thomas of Lincoln.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, May 14 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Friday, May 15, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Christensen officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
