Clarice Thrash Conway, 85, of Clanton died Monday, May 4, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on Saturday, January 26, 1924 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Eugene Thrash and the late Alice Gentry Thrash.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her 2 Daughters, Janet Conway of Clanton, AL, Cheryl (Sam) Higgins of Clanton, AL; Son, Delbert (Jana) Conway of Deatsville, AL; 3 Granddaughters, Jill (Chris) Worley of Cave Junction, OR, Ginger (Mike) Sellers of Palatka, FL, Wendy (Robbie) White of Deatsville, AL; 2 Grandsons, Jim (Carmen) Higgins of Murfreesboro, TN, Clint Conway of Montgomery, AL; 2 Sisters, Thelma Shelton of Clanton, AL, Willodean (Billy) Bean of Bynum, AL; 2 Brothers, Preston Thrash of Jemison, AL, Hoyt Thrash of Jemison, AL; 12 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, James Conway and young Son, Gordon Conway.

Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 1:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Raines and Rev. Willard Frederick officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, Jemison, AL.
