Thomas Russell “Tommy” Presley, 54, of Clanton died Thursday, April 9 at his residence in Clanton.
He was born Monday, Jan. 24, 1955 in North Kingston, RI, son of the late Donald Pierce Presley and Florence Elizabeth Russell Presley.
He was a truck driver.
Surviving are wife, Marsha Presley of Clanton; mother, Florence Presley of West Warick, RI; three sisters, Pat Glass of Houston, Texas; Susan Presley of Copperopolis, Calif.; Jean Melvin of West Warick, RI; six brothers, Donald Presley of Coosada, Danny Presley of Coventry, RI; Billy Presley of Huntsville, Jimmy Presley of Santa Fe, NM; Frederick Presley of Westerly, RI; Johnny Presley of Cranston, RI; best friend, Richard Staskowski of Hope Valley, RI; cousin, Susan Cowsill of New Orleans, La.
Services were held Monday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Montevallo with Father Dunmeir officiating.
Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Rocky Mount Methodist Cemetery in Jemison with the Rev. Willard Frederick officiating.
