Larry Wayne Sims, 49, of Montgomery died Saturday, March 28.

He was born on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1959 in Chilton County, son of Clyde Sims and the late Jettielene Taylor Sims.

He was a broker.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susan B. Sims of Montgomery; step-son, Mr. Casey Holley of Jemison; step-daughter, Ms. Chrissy Holley of Clanton; father, Mr. Clyde Sims of Clanton; brother, Mr. Terry (Cindy) Sims of Clanton; niece, Mrs. Tracy Brown of Clanton; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Jettielene Sims.

Friends will be received from 5-8, Friday, April 3, 2009 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the graveside with the Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery located in Clanton.
