Harry Brasher

Harry Dempsey Brasher, 61, of Jemison died Friday, March 27 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born Sunday, Aug. 3, 1947 in Shelby, son of the late Jack Brasher and Helen Pate Brasher.
He was a construction superintendent.
Surviving are wife, Jan Brasher of Jemison; two sons, Christopher Robin (Sandy) Brasher of Alabaster, Jonathan Brasher of Jemison; daughter, Kristie Lynn Brasher of Cullman; granddaughter, Carsen Brasher; grandson, Joshua Brasher; mother, Helen Brasher of Columbiana; sister, Nancy (Raymond) Crowe of Shelby; brother, Barry (Becky) Brasher of Shelby; mother-in-law, Peggy Marcus of Thorsby; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by Jack Brasher, father and Steve Brasher, brother.
Friends will be received from 6-8 today, March 29.
Services will be held tomorrow, Monday, March 30 at 11 a.m., at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Brasher officiating.
Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Alabama Forever Wild.
