Joseph Raymond Wesson, 68, of Verbena died Friday, March 20, at Baptist Medical Center East, Montgomery.
He was born on Friday, Aug. 2, 1940 in Chilton County, son of the late J.D. Wesson and the late Aulsie Cleckler Wesson. He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Shirley Wesson of Verbena; son, Mr. Scott Wesson of Verbena; step-son, Mr. Kevin (Angela) Wilson; granddaughter, Miss Lena Wilson; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Robinson of Clanton and Mrs. Carolyn Hudson of Clanton.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. today, March 22, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, March 23, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Eubank and the Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating. Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley.
