Ernest George Carlson, 80, of Clanton died Sunday, March 15, at his residence.
He was born on Monday, Aug. 6, 1928 in Wisconsin, son of the late Carl George Carlson and the late Charlotte Bertina Baalrud Carlson. He was an electrical engineer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary K. Carlson of Clanton; two daughters, Mrs. Georgena C. Card of Murphy, N.C., and Mrs. Paula C. Stone of Boise, Idaho; two sons, Mr. Alan Carlson of Edgewood, N.M., and Mr. Lee Carlson of New Orleans, La.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Betty Bateson of Payson, Ariz.
Services were held Tuesday, March 17, at noon at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Lawrence officiating.
