Funeral services for Bobbie Glass, 74, of Calera will be at 11 a.m. today, March 13, at 16th Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Nick Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Glass, who passed away on Wednesday, March 11, at a local hospital, was born on Sept. 4, 1934.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Glen Glass; daughter, Tommie Lou Higgins; and sisters, Earline B. Kimbrell and Irogene Brasher.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Stephanie) Glass; grandchildren, Bridgette (Nathan) Sanders, Tanner and Taylor Glass; great-grandchildren, Mason and Hannah Sanders; son-in-law, Bruce Higgins; and a host of other family and friends.
