Students and teachers at Clanton Elementary School had fun during a “Survivor” style competition while raising money for Relay for Life yesterday morning.

The school collected donations, and students could pay money to vote for their favorite teacher. The winning teacher was Principal Rebecca Threlkeld, who promised to give the students an extra recess if she won.

The fundraiser raised $1,113 for the school’s Relay team.
