William R. “Richard” Hayes Jr., 36, of Clanton died Wednesday, March 11, at his residence.
He was born on Monday, Sept. 25, 1972 in Chilton County, son of William R. Hayes Sr. and Sandra Payne Hayes. He was self-employed.
Surviving are his two sons, William Micha Scott Hayes of Clanton and Aaron Tyler Hayes of Graceville, Fla.; parents, William Sr. and Sandra Hayes of Stanton; three sisters, Joyce Hayes Wells of New Market, Eileen Jones of Frisco City and Jennifer Higginbotham of Lawley; brother, Donnie Hayes of Stanton; business partner and companion, Aaron Scott of Clanton.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. until today, March 12, at Stanton Bible Church. Services will be held Friday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Stanton Bible Methodist Church with the Rev. Royal Thomas and the Rev. John Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Stanton.
