Valetta Dianne Sims, 46, of Clanton died Sunday, March 8, at her residence.
She was born on Thursday, Oct. 11, 1962 in Dallas County, daughter of Claude Lee Leach and Elsie Mae Neely.
She was an engineer assistant for State of Alabama Department of Corrections.
Surviving are her daughter, Christina Sims of Clanton; son, Aiden Adams of Clanton; father, Claude (Jane) Leach of Clanton; mother, Elsie (Ted) Neely of Jemison; grandmother, Mary Stone of Jemison; sister, Deidra Leach of Elmore; brother, Allen Leach of Clanton.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. today, March 10, at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
