Thorsby continued its strong play early this season with an 11-0, five-inning win over Victory Christian yesterday.

The Rebels now have 12 wins compared to just one loss.

Thorsby’s Cody Carroll improved his record to 3-0 by holding the visitors scoreless on one hit and five walks in five innings while striking out seven.

Evan Bryan (2/4, R) and Brantley Bice (2/4, 2 R) both had multi-hit games for the hosts. Daniel Farris scored two runs, and Joseph Prather tripled and walked in his three plate appearances.

Thorsby’s next game will come in the Chilton County Tournament scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
