Barry Dale Oliver, 52, of Verbena died Saturday, March 7, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born on Friday, March 9, 1956 in Birmingham, son of M.B. Oliver and Gloria Crim Oliver. He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry Oliver of Verbena; parents, M.B. and Gloria Oliver of Brierfield; daughter, Sandy Oliver of Vinson; son, Randall Oliver of Wilsonville; step-son, Patrick Adams of Verbena; two step-daughters, Andrea Bergeron of Crestview, Fla., and Brandi Rivers of McIntosh; brother, Russell Oliver of Brierfield; sister, Dania Hand of Columbiana; grandson, Noah Oliver of Vinson.
Graveside services will be held today, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Corinth Cemetery with the Rev. William E. Short officiating. There will be no visitation.
The family request no flowers; please make donations to the funeral fund.
