I-65 was shut down for a few minutes to transfer the female driver of a wreck to a medical transport helicopter this afternoon.

The crash occurred one-half of a mile south of Exit 212 on I-65. Apparently, a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound in the right land came over into the left lane, hit a Ford SUV and then went through the median. The truck came to rest in the right northbound lane.

No one was injured in the SUV.
