Thorsby pitcher Trent Glosson today outdueled West Blocton counterpart Jacob Bush, and the Rebels (6-0) won, 2-1..

Glosson actually helped himself by knocking in both Thorsby runs. Brantley Bice walked in the third and fifth innings, and Glosson each time brought him home with a single.

The Tigers (3-3) scored their run in the top of the third inning, but that’s all they could muster against Glosson (2-0), who allowed four hits and no walks in seven innings while striking out eight.

Glosson and Cody Carroll were both 2-for-3 at the plate.
