James Allen Main, director of the Alabama Department of Finance, will speak to the Clanton Lions Club Friday at its noontime weekly meeting at Helen’s Place.

He is the chief financial officer of the state and the governor’s advisor in all financial matters. He is responsible for the oversight of each of the department’s divisions and is charged with protecting the financial interests of Alabama.
