Rudolph Earl Butts, 81, of Clanton died Thursday, Feb. 19 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born Monday, July 11, 1927 in Birmingham, son of the late Alonzo Washington Butts and the late Ora Davenport Butts.
He was a collection agent.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia A. Butts of Clanton; two daughters, Judy Druckemiller of Verbena, Connie (Bill) Kirby of Hoover; three grandchildren, Krissie Kirby, Carolyn Kirby, Justin Druckemiller.
There will be no visitation.
Services will be held today, Feb. 20, 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
Interment will follow in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Birmingham.
