Jamie “Rialynn” Scarbrough, the infant son of Whitney and Brandy Scarbrough of Thorsby, was laid to rest Feb. 15.
He began his very short life on Feb. 9, 2009 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. After a tough fight, he went to play with the angels on Feb. 9, 2009.
He is survived by his father, Whitney Scarbrough; mother, Brandy Scarbrough; sister, Brookelynn Scarbrough; grandparents, Ernie and Christie Ragsdale, Allen and Tracy Scarbrough, Patty Butler, Carl Massey and Clarence and Joyce Butler; a host of great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Rev. Donald Talley officiated the funeral services along with a very special poem read by his aunt, Britney Ragsdale. Interment followed at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby.
