Shirley K. Harrison, 70, of Stanton died Feb. 13 at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa.

She was born on Saturday, May 14, 1938, in Jeffersonville, Ind., daughter of the late Stanley Kendall and the late Evelyn Rauth Kendall.

She was a medical transcriptionist and was married for 37 years.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Irby Harrison of Stanton; daughter, Karen (Tony) Smith of Stanton; grandson, Keaton Jones of Stanton; and sister, Betty Kendall of Selma.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Stanton Bible Methodist Church with the Rev. John Ingram and the Rev. Jonathan Shirah officiating.

Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Stanton.
