Jimmie Lou Calloway, 70, of Clanton died Feb. 3 at her residence.
She was born Friday, Jan. 27, 1939, in Alabama, daughter of the late Warren Stephens and the late Julia Cox Stephens.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her two daughters, Angela (Mark) Taylor of Clanton and Mary Catherine Calloway of Clanton; two sons, Joe Ben (Cyndee) Calloway Jr. of Clanton and Chris (Angie) Calloway of Clanton; a step-daughter, Rita (Greg) Foote; a step-son, Larry (Jeannie) Hilburn; four granddaughters, Shannon Wright (Scott) Stokes of Clanton, Marci (Jarrad) Bates of Clanton, Hannah Calloway of Clanton, and Hailey Calloway of Clanton; four grandsons, C.J. Wright of Clanton, Chance Calloway of Clanton, Bradley Stephens of Clanton, and Corey Hilburn of Tennessee; a great-grandson, Hugh David Bates of Clanton; and a brother, Stevie (Donna) Stephens of Clanton.
Friends were received from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. yesterday at Martin
Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Providence No. 2 Baptist Church with the Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.
Interment will follow in Providence No. 2 Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
