Other cities need alcohol tax revenue

Dear Editor,

Question: How is it fair to other cities and citizens in Chilton County that the City of Clanton has a monopoly on alcoholic beverage sales?

Why should citizens living in other cities in Chilton County have to bring their dollars to Clanton for alcoholic beverages?

Why not legalize the sale of alcoholic beverages in all the cities of Chilton County? The much needed tax revenue would stay in that city.

The other cities could use the extra income from tax revenue from alcoholic beverage sales.

P.S.: Is there something wrong with that picture?
