Ethel S. Giles, 75, of Maplesville died Sunday, Feb. 1, at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton.
She was born on Saturday, Nov. 18, 1933 in Monroe, Ala., daughter of the late Willie Comer Stinson and the late Rosezella Roberts Stinson. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Hilda (Marty) Reynolds of Plantersville; two sons, Ronny (Shirley) Rigsby of Plantersville and Charles Rigsby of Maplesville; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, Thomas Stinson of Greenville and Willie Stinson of Greenville; sister, Margie Crawford of Greenville.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. today, Feb. 3, 2009 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Jacks officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville.
