James N. Dennis, 93, of Clanton died Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1915 in Chilton County, son of the late Jasper N. Dennis and the late Bertie Lee Kicker Dennis. He was a teacher.
Surviving are his two sons, James N. Dennis of Dadeville, Robert Michael Dennis of Dadeville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2:30-3:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 29, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, at 3:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Graham officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton.
