Word in editorial was offensive
Dear Editor,
I as an American citizen think that it was a disgrace to all races that your Advertiser addressed our new president with a definition as being “colored.”
It is sad that ignorance still exists, particularly in the South. There should be no color distinction on a person’s name. You may not have helped put him in-office, but he is still your President and he and anyone else should be addressed by their name.
His name is Mr. Barack Obama, and colored has nothing to do with it. Do you not realize still that this world belongs to God?
